For years we have heard from customers using the Henle Latin program that they would love some of the same kind of helpful resources that we publish for the Latina Christiana and Form programs, resources like, say, flashcards for instance. Well now we have them! The new flashcards cover the entire vocabulary of First Year Latin by Henle, which, for most students is going to be two or even three years worth of vocabulary. One of the major reasons students struggle in Latin is because they have not adequately mastered the vocabulary. These cards will solve that problem in a flash.

I purchased all three sets of the Henle Latin Flashcards and am very satisfied with the actual cards and the system of sorting the cards by Year, Lesson and Subsection, however, I was extremely disappointed that there was no box or case to contain the cards. How then do I keep the cards sorted, clean and orderly? This is the first time that I have ever bought vocabulary flashcards and not had them come in a box. Even my Latin flashcards of 50 years ago came in a box. Therefore the three-star rating.

Pamela, we are sorry to hear that you are disappointed. In order to make our flashcards as affordable as possible, we chose this route. A box would significantly increase cost to our customers. In terms of organization, most of our customers use loose leaf binder rings, Ziploc bags, or Tupperware containers. This is the first request we’ve received for a container to be included, and it will certainly be passed along to our curriculum director. It is thanks to feedback such as yours that we are able to continually improve our curriculum.
