About the Henle Latin First Year: Units I-V Teacher Manual
Need a little more guidance to use Henle Latin? Our Teacher Manual tells students what to do at every step of the way, and gives the teacher specific teaching points in the form of Chalk Talk, as well as a detailed key to the Henle exercises. We have provided oral practice exercises for students, and broken each weekly lesson into daily work, providing students with the organization needed to complete this course. This Teacher Manual will ease your transition into Henle Latin and provide the background needed for the successful completion of the Latin grammar, even for those teachers without a Latin background.
About the Henle Latin First Year: Units I-V Quizzes & Tests
Henle is a wonderful Latin program, but did you ever wish you had pre-made quizzes, one for each week of the year? Now, not only does Memoria Press offer phenomenal guides for the Henle program, but we have added quiz booklets (which include a final exam) to go along with both of our Henle Latin I Teacher Manuals! Simple, straight-forward, and clear, these quizzes are based on years of our own experience teaching Christian Latin.

Videos are well done and very helpful. Mr. Christiansen obviously loves the language and explains the concepts well. Each video is about 45 minutes long. There is some review and recitation. Then he explains the new vocabulary, including English derivatives. He makes that part especially interesting. He moves on to new grammar concepts and ends with a thorough explanation of the week’s assignment. Students are expected to watch the video instruction once a week and then work independently in the textbook. A weekly quiz (on paper) wraps up the week. The videos are a great alternative for a student who doesn’t need or want a live online class.
