Even though we feel that it is impossible to find anything more fun than reciting declensions, we responded to the demands for Latin games with a Latina Christiana word games course. In this activity book, we’ve stuffed enrichment activities of every kind to help your students learn the vocabulary, grammar, and derivatives presented in the Latina Christiana course. Students will find hours of enjoyment playing Latin Hangman, solving Latin Crossword puzzles, and competing against each other in Latin Pictionary! And teachers will be thrilled, knowing that such “fun” work is actually worthwhile.

English Grammar Recitation I Student Workbook is tied specifically to the grammar taught in Latina Christiana, but it can be used successfully alongside any Latin program. Students will master (and be able to recite fluently) 31 grammar rules, 10 capitalization rules, and 15 punctuation rules.

Brief exercises, including some diagramming, do accompany these grammar questions; however, the mastery of the English grammar catechism is the primary goal of this course, not its application. English Grammar Recitation also covers capitalization and punctuation through recitation. Students recite the rules and demonstrate their correct use through dictation of model sentences. It is hoped that this course can be completed in much less time than the typical English grammar course, leaving more time for composition and Latin.

Together, Harry and Tucker show Chester around New York City and discover his amazing musical ability. Composition & Sketchbook Sample

Students will master a total of 60 events over the course of four years (3rd-6th grades). History is a very unsystematic subject, and time is very abstract. Students need a timeline that they memorize, build on, and recite every year.

This book will be completed over the four-year period in which this timeline is completed. Each event has a 2-page spread with a picture frame for illustrating the event on one side, and a page of blank lines for writing a summary of the event on the other.

Regarding the Rod & Staff Grade 4 Math Tests, the publisher says: "The 17 chapter tests are bound in a separate booklet with tear-out sheets.

Regarding the Rod & Staff Grade 4 Math Speed Drills, the publisher says: "A separate tablet of speed drills provides a timed drill for every second lesson. Speed drills exercise a wide range of skills taught in Grade 4."

Book of Astronomy Student Sample

The Book of Astronomy program covers constellations, the motion of the earth, and the names of stars, as well as the sky as seen throughout all the seasons, including the "Summer Triangle" and the fall and winter zodiacs. Since the constellations are named after many characters in Greek mythology, D'Aulaires Greek Myths is a great resource to have on hand with this program. The Book of Astronomy was developed with 3rd graders in mind, but it can be used with older students just as well.

In this initial Fable stage, students look at a single story or idea and begin learning how to use words to engage the imagination of the audience. They master the structures of thought or ideas that go into a narrative and learn to create recognition by using figures of description. Students learn to restructure facts to tell the same story or idea. They also discover that words are symbols representing ideas, and as writers they can communicate the same idea using a variety of words and sentence structures.

States & Capitals Student Sample

This study guide thoroughly teaches the states and capitals of the United States. Each page includes a state map and room to write the state's capital, nickname, abbreviation, and fun facts. By the end of this year-long course, students will be able to label all 50 states on a U.S. map (with the capitals).
