These discussion questions are for oral discussion of the books in the Memoria Press Fifth Grade American/Modern Studies Supplemental Reading Set. The idea behind these novels and biographies is to introduce students to important characters and events in American history through stories. Students should be able to read these books independently. The discussion questions will aid the teacher in talking with the students about what they have read. Our intention is that these books will be read and enjoyed by young students beginning their journey through American history.
