Saving Western Civilization One Student at a Time

Presented by Memoria Press and the Classical Latin School Association, the Teacher Training Conference is the perfect opportunity to enrich your classical classroom. On the campus of Highlands Latin School, the 2019 conference featured plenary sessions led by Leigh Lowe, Kathy Becker, Dr. Matt Dickie, and Martin Cothran. The remainder of the two days were jam-packed with workshops detailing curriculum, pedagogy, and classroom discipline.

Breakfast and a full lunch are provided on Thursday and Friday.

opening reception

The 2019 Opening Reception’s featured guest speaker was Dr. Carol Reynolds. Broadway musicals are far more than entertainment. Dr. Reynolds traced that connection, from Aristophanes through the Renaissance genius Monteverdi up to today’s Broadway hit Hamilton in her talk “From Orpheus to My Fair Lady.
