George Washington Allen feels like he knows just about everything about George Washington until one day when he wants to know what George Washington had for breakfast. George Washington Allen heads to the library to find out. He enlists his family to help him research and read books, looking for any clue about what Washington ate for breakfast. They even take a trip to Washington’s home in Mount Vernon, Virginia together! After returning from Mount Vernon without finding out what Washington ate for breakfast, the determined George Washington Allen finally finds the answer in an unlikely place.
