This edition of “The House that Jack Built” is not the full poem. The first couple of stanzas have been skipped, which really dampers the quality of this traditional repetitive poem. I imagine they did this to fit within the page restrictions of the Little Golden Book publisher, which is really unfortunate. I included one star for the illustrations, which were well done, but I am disappointed to receive an incomplete story. I wish another version had been picked for the Jr. Kindergarten curriculum.
