I appreciated the realistic, simplistic, and pious content Scamp and Tramp. It was a relief to read about friendships, pets, children who help their parents with chores, sing to God, and so on, instead of the multitude of books you find in the library with ugly illustrations, unrealistic stories, questionable values, and TV show characters.
