Millions of Cats

Millions of Cats by Wanda Gág tells the story of a little old man and little old woman who wanted a kitten. The old man went out to find a kitten for his wife, and he found not one, not ten, but millions and billions of cats. Since the old man cannot decide which is the loveliest, he simply brings them all home with him. Having millions of cats does not turn out like the old man thought it might, but in the end the old man and woman end up with the prettiest, most perfect cat for them.
