Have you been searching high and low for activities for your junior kindergarten child that are fun as well as instructional? Look no further! This coloring book teaches your child the basics of numbers in such an engaging way, they won’t even realize they are learning! The Numbers Coloring Book is the perfect supplement to any junior kindergarten program.
We enjoyed the Numbers Books because it has a variety of math activities: tracing and writing numbers, connect-the-dots, color by number, before and after numbers, number line exercises, odd/even, number words, counting objects, and more. It was a perfect addition to the somewhat plain and repetitive Rod and Staff Math worksheets. My son liked these books so much, that I made their pages a reward for finishing other work.

Teachers of children who find coloring very rewarding and are more challenging to get engaged with numbers might find this very helpful. The books are a bit thin and light on actual number learning work. Though, the variety of activities related to numbers may also be helpful for any parent learning how their child learns or is new to homeschooling and the idea of using multiple tactics to teach a concept. I certainly picked up some fun new activity ideas!
