We recently came up with the great idea of adding it as a supplement to our Classical Core packages for summer reading! Read (or listen to!) Volume 1 before 5th grade.

My five year old cannot get enough of this!!! The voices are excellent and so fun! There is at least one incorrect pronunciation of a word, but I forget which. Regardless, the whole collection is engaging and accessible, yet challenging and thorough! We got the audio book and are so glad we did because I never would have had the time to read this “Story of the World” half as many times as my four and five year olds have requested!
