Product Description
Our Kindergarten Enrichment, Third Edition offers suggestions for activities that go along with the read-aloud book for each week. The activities and enrichment books give students an introduction to the subjects of literature, poetry, art, music, history, culture, and science. This set includes all of the science and history supplemental books needed if you care to delve more deeply into these subjects.
The World of Mammals – This book investigates and describes the anatomy, behavior, and habitats of over 1,000 animals. It is a great science resource for use with our Primary Classical Core Curriculum Packages. (not included in set)
NOTE: Some of these books refer to the age of the world in a way that contradicts young earth creationism, but we felt like they were the best books on the subject, and the reference to the age of the earth can easily be skipped as it is just mentioned and not dwelled upon.

Even if you are happy with your phonics, math, and copywork elsewhere you cannot beat Memoria Press’ new Enrichment Guide books. In the main Lesson Plans, you are provided with the schedule for a read-aloud book for the week on Monday, music and art for Tuesday, poetry on Wednesday, history and culture (aka social studies and then some!) on Thursday, and science (ala nature study) on Friday. The Kindergarten Enrichment Guide enhances this so much further!
I have written a long series of posts reviewing the entirety of Kindergarten: http://creativemadnessmama.com/blog/2015/01/26/memoria-press-kindergarten/
