OVERVIEW
Presented by Memoria Press and the Classical Latin School Association, the 2022 Teacher Training Conference is the perfect opportunity to enrich your classical classroom. On the campus of Highlands Latin School, the 2022 conference will feature plenary sessions led by Dr. Vigen Guroian, Dr. James Matthew Wilson, Dr. Matthew Dickie, and Martin Cothran. The remainder of the two days will be filled with workshops detailing the Memoria Press Classical Core Curriculum, pedagogy, and classroom discipline.

The optional pre-conference tracks on Wednesday, July 13, are subject-specific and geared toward teachers who need additional direction or specific content help in certain subjects. There is a separate registration process and additional fee of $50. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
On Wednesday, July 13, Memoria College will have a full day of workshops led by the Memoria College faculty. Registration is $100 for the day-long conference. Click here for more information and registration details!

Highlands Latin School Community Lecture Series

Join us Wednesday, July 13, at 6:00 p.m. for the opening reception and lecture by Dr. Vigen Guroian in the Highlands Latin School Gymnasium.
Dr. Guroian has been professor of religious studies in Orthodox Christianity at the University of Virginia and senior fellow at the Center for the study of Law and Religion at Emory University. He is the author of several books, including Incarnate Love: Essays in Orthodox Ethics, Tending the Heart of Virtue, and Rallying the Really Human Things. His nearly 200 published articles cover a range of subjects including marriage and family, children’s literature, ecology, gardening, Armenian history, and medical ethics.
This event is open to all attendees and facilitators of the 2022 Memoria Press Sodalitas Conference, Teacher Training Conference, Memoria College Conference, and Highlands Latin School families.
