Technical Specifications for our Adobe Connect Pro Classrooms

Technical requirements for our courses are minimal. However, sometimes we receive questions about whether or not a particular computer/operating system will work with our live online classrooms. For our live audio/video Adobe Connect Pro Chats, the main technical requirements are: A high-speed Internet connection, a Web browser, and the latest version of Flash Player (free download). Additionally, for many classes, you will need a headset with a microphone and earphones. This can be purchased for as low as $9.95. Additionally, some of our online mathematics courses may also require the purchase of an electronic pencil. Below, you will see Adobe's specific recommendations with respect to Internet speed, Web browser requirements, and information regarding different systems.

Note that simultaneous teleconference activity is restricted when using a carrier that does not support simultaneous data and voice. For devices that do not meet these requirements, meetings can be attended in the browser if the device meets the following requirements: Mobile OS with Flash Player and AIR support (Flash Player 10.1). Attending via the Adobe Connect Mobile app is recommended.
