Prep Class (Spring 2010)
Description:
Each class will begin with critical reading questions and
will then proceed to cover ten Latin/Greek roots and three derivatives
for each of the roots. Ten vocabulary words will also be supplied
weekly which are from a list of 500 commonly used SAT vocabulary
words. By the end of the 10 weeks students will have covered 100
Latin/Greek roots and 300 derivatives, 40 critical reading sentences,
and an additional 100 SAT focused vocabulary words!
Course Text: No course text is required - materials
will be provided by instructor.
Suggested Age: Grades 7-12
