Description:
The second year of our introduction to Christian
Latin for middle and high school students that takes a more
logical, systematic approach than Latina Christiana, and
more grammatical, less translation-oriented approach than
Henle. Grammar is taught systematically in order to facilitate
retention and understanding, and the extensive workbook
exercises ensure skills mastery and rapid recognition. A
one-year course.
Suggested Age: Grades 6-9
Content Covered: 6 indicative active and
passive tenses of all four verb conjugations, 5 noun declensions
including er-ir nouns and i-stem nouns, adjectives in 3
declensions, personal pronouns, prepositions, 180 new vocabulary
words
Required Course Texts: Second
Form Latin Text and Student Workbook. The Second Form Latin Pronunciation CD would also be helpful but not required (not included in price of the course). If parents would like to follow along with their students, they can order the Second Form Latin Teacher Manual as well.
