Description: This course is designed to augment the SAT Prep class. The purpose of this class is to enhance students’ vocabulary knowledge in preparation for the critical reading portion of the SAT exam. Each week, ten Latin/Greek roots and 20 vocabulary words will be presented in class. (The roots and vocabulary will be different for the fall and spring classes.) Students will be required to complete associated weekly on-line vocabulary quizzes. The completion of the weekly quizzes is mandatory for class chat attendance. This is a 12-week course.
Suggested Age: Grades 7-12
Prerequisites: SAT Prep Class recommended but not required
