Description: The PSAT exam, which is used to determine National Merit Scholars, is scheduled for October 16, 2010. This 5-week class covers PSAT preparation including important strategies for success in the different sections of the exam. Example problems in the critical reading, math, and writing sections of the exam will be presented during the class chat time. Also, a brief overview of the resources available through the College Board website will be included as well as how to use the results of the PSAT to prepare for the more difficult SAT. There will be no required homework or on-line quizzes with this mini-class.
