Description:
An introduction to the characters and events of ancient
Greece. The student will enter into the lives and minds
of over thirty famous Greeks, including Achilles, Leonidas
of Thermopylae, Pericles, Socrates, Alexander the Great,
Aristotle, and many more. Covering thirty of the most important
thinkers, students will gain an appreciation of Greece's
triumphs and challenges, which will enable them to grasp
the scope of Greek accomplishments, many of which still echo
in our culture today. A one-semester course.
Suggested Age: Grades 5 and up

Men of Greece (Text and Student Guide), Ancient
Civilization Wall Maps (not included in price of
the course)
Content Covered: Famous names, key events,
classical geography, vocabulary and fact drills, and art
projects through the use of comprehension questions, memorization
of facts, vocabulary, drawing, and picture review.
