Description: A second-level introduction to Christian Latin following the same format as Latina Christiana I for the younger student wanting to continue his or her Latin study. The first semester of a two-semester course.
Suggested Age: Grades 5 and up.
Required Course Texts: Latina Christiana II: An Introduction to Christian Latin, by Cheryl Lowe; Latina II DVD. (not included in the price of the course)
Prerequisites: Completion of Latina Christiana I.
Content Covered: The student will extend his knowledge of Latin vocabulary to 400 words, all five Latin nouns, and three tenses of all four Latin verbs. The student will also be introduced to prepositional phrases, learn several Latin hymns, several Latin prayers, and 50 Latin conversational terms.
Estimated Workload: 30 minutes/day.
