Description: The first semester of a two-semester course covering Latin: Second Year, by Robert J. Henle ("Henle Latin") with additional translations assigned by the instructor. This course is for students who have completed either High School Henle Latin III, Units 6-14. The Henle Latin: Second Year text spends the first semester reviewing Units 8-14 from the Henle I book, so students from both these classes will be well prepared for this course.
Suggested Age: Grades 10 and up.
Required Course Texts: Latin: Second Year, and Grammar by Robert J. Henle. (not included in price of course)
Content Covered: Coverage of advanced grammatical concepts including irregular adjectives, ablative absolute, gerunds, and gerundives, vocative case and imperative mood.
