Description: A two-semester course covering units 6-14 of Latin: First Year, by Robert J. Henle ("Henle Latin"). This course is well-suited for the student continuing Latin in grades 10 and up who have completed either High School Latin I, Henle Units 1-5 or Middle School Henle Latin I & II, Henle Units 1-5. The first semester of a two-semester course.
Suggested Age: Grades 9 and up.
Required Course Texts: Latin: First Year, Grammar by Robert J. Henle. (not included in price of course)
Content Covered: Coverage of subjunctive mood, active and passive of verbs; relative clauses; direct questions; vocative and imperative moods; advanced work in pronouns and prepositions; ablative constructions; infinitive noun constructions; numerals and irregular adjectives. Short readings on Christian and Roman history will also be presented.
