Description: An introduction to Christian Latin for middle and high school students that takes a more logical, systematic approach than Latina Christiana, and more grammatical, less translation-oriented approach than Henle. Grammar is taught systematically in order to facilitate retention and understanding, and the extensive workbook exercises ensure skills mastery and rapid recognition. The first semester of a two-semester course.
Suggested Age: Grades 6-9.
Required Course Texts: First Form Latin set (not included in price of the course)
Content Covered: Nouns and adjectives in all declensions as well as present system and perfect system of verbs in the first two conjugations. Over 180 Latin vocabulary words.
