LAST MONTH WE ANNOUNCED our contest to determine who could come up with the most memorable acrostic to help remember the five Latin cases.

Ablative

It was inspired by Janet Firth and her class who suggested several acrostics including "Never Golf During An Avalanche"

Entries seemed to fall into three categories: (1) Advice and Exhortations, (2) Everyday Observations, and (3) Religious or Historical Observations.

Here are the entries we received, according to category, followed by the winner
