Default Latina Christiana I DVD's

I haven't seen these yet. Do they show Cheryl Lowe in front of a class of little children or various age groups? Would a 13 yo feel funny following along if the children are younger on the screen?

Thumbs up DVD's

We just did our first lesson today w/ the DVD's and they are awesome. We have never done Latin before and my oldest son says he really likes the way Leigh Lowe speaks and the inflection of her voice. He also says he likes the way she will correct herself , like she is really right in front of you. (He is 15)

Leigh is not in front of a class that you can see. It is like she is talking directly to you. I did this with my boys and really enjoyed it.

I am so glad we bought this curriculm. I am hoping to get it done fast and get Latina Christiana II done this year also.

Blessings,
JoJo

Default Latina Christinia DVD....

As the other poster said, Leigh Lowe teaches on the LC1 DVD. We've done 2 lessons and she is the only person we've seen. The same goes for the Prima Latina DVDs.

My children range in age from 12 to 6.5. They really do enjoy the lessons on DVD. Sometimes the lessons are bit long for the younger children but so far we've been able to complete each section at 1 sitting. If my dh is home he'll watch also! I am glad we bought the DVDs.

Hope I've helped!

Patrice

Default Thanks!

Sounds great! Also, does she go through the whole lesson with you? And do you watch it first when you're starting a new lesson so that she does what you would do with the teacher's manual? and then review on your own the next day?

I'm excited about getting started...
