R & S Science and Math

I noticed that HLS uses a lot of R&S - grammar, math, some science, but not the science in the middle grades.

I'm trying to find an inexpensive Christian science program. Is there a weakness of the middle grade levels of science for R&S?

I think Rod & Staff has a good science program. It is a survey course, so you are doing a little bit of everything from insects to electricity to physics. It is easy to use - short chapters with vocabulary and questions at the end. We just prefer studying one thing for a year and really immersing our students in it. So we have gone in a different direction. But if you like a little bit of everything, this is a well-written science program.
