Default First Start Reading Assessments -Dictation

Hello! We are enjoying the K phonics program and are nearly to the First Start Reading Book A assessments. I am confused about the dictation though. The K curriculum guide says the words for dictation are in the Teacher's Guide, but when I go to pages for Assessments 3 & 4 in the First Start Reading Teacher's Guide the pages are blank?? It just says CVC words and Common words. Where are the words for dictation for the Review and Assessments?

Hello.

Do you have the final FSR books or the in-house printed comb-bound books? I am looking at my book, and it has the words for dictation on the assessment pages (pp. 75-76 in the Teacher Guide). I'm wondering if you got a book that was printed in error. Why don't you email or call me, and we'll take care of this for you.

Regards,

Tanya Charlton

I have the in-house comb-bound books. Pages 75-76 of my Teacher's Guide just has a picture of the blank Student guide and some instructions, but no list of dictation words. I will email you. Thanks for your help!

Now you've got me totally confused. I also have the in-house comb-bound FSR Teacher Guide and it only goes to page 49. Am I missing something?

Hello.

If you have a comb-bound copy of FSR that you have purchased from us, I will gladly replace it with the final books. Also, if you are using FSR with our kindergarten lesson plans, I will send a new lesson plans book to you in case of page number changes.

I apologize for this confusion. We continue to make changes that cause problems, but we can't seem to leave our books alone when we see things that could improve them! We are going to stay out of FSR for awhile, so you will be safe with these new books.

Email me with your address and needs, and I will take care of you.

Regards,

Tanya (tanya@memoriapress.com)
