Hi everyone,
I'm so new to this whole world of homeschooling, planning to start this summer/fall and my head is spinning with all the options. I'm leaning towards some combo of classical/LCC/TWTM/CM and like what I've read about Classical Writing Primers. But I'm confused about what you need to get with it to have a full language arts curriculum. Copybooks? Grammar? Phonics? Spelling? Is the LCC philosophy that all those things will be learned just by doing the CW Primer alone? Did anyone who tried the CW Primers need to supplement with other things, and if so, what? Thanks so much for any insights you could provide! |

You'll probably get more information about Classical Writing from their message boards: http://lene.proboards.com/. For LCC discussion, you can either post at the LCC forums (http://www.latincentered.com/forum) or join the LatinClassicalEd mailing list: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LatinClassicalEd .
The Primers have not been released yet, so you're not going to find people who've used them, but any of the forums listed above can give you advice on Latin-centered language arts. |
