Default 200 Questions about American History ???

Tanya,

I purchased The Story of the Thirteen Colonies and the Great Republic text, Everything you need to know about American History and the 200 questions about American History student & Teacher book. I have a couple of questions since there are no lesson plans included. I plan on having my son read 1 chapter 3x a week and answer the questions that correspond with each chapter. However, I am not sure what to do with the "Everything you need to know about American History" book. How is this book used with this curriculum? Also, how does my son know when to fill in the "Timeline section, Notable Quotes section and Presidents section"? Is he suppose to look through those sections each day and fill-in the info?

Thanks,
Tammy

To the OP: I am tagging along...I hope you do not mind.

My question is: Is a release date known yet for the Gueber student and teacher guide? I understand 200 Questions is being incorporated into that book. I agree that for those not purchasing the 6th grade plans perhaps a little chart showing when to add information would be most helpful.

Hello.

We do have the lesson plans for Guerber, and we can send them to you for a charge of $3 if you want to call our office.

Enigma, we are actually releasing the study guide now, but there are a few lessons missing. But, as always, you can get the completed guide once we have it. It is one of our first summer teacher projects, so hopefully it will be completed by early summer. We are not using this guide at school at this point, but we will add the study guide to the lesson plans for homeschoolers and other schools.

Regards,

Tanya

Default Lesson Plans

Is there a way to request the lesson plans while ordering online? I'm planning to order a few things very soon. Thanks!

The 6th grade plans don't have the Guerber guide in them. We don't use the guide in our school, and our guides reflect what we are doing in the classroom. But it would be easy to figure out because we list the chapters covered in Guerber in the lesson plans, so you would do the study guide questions for those chapters that week. We did update the plans to include our addition of the 4th volume of Story of the World toward the end of the year. We are using that text to introduce 20th century American history and have included the passages we have our students read.

Regards,

Tanya

You can buy the lesson plans by grade on the website, but not by subject. If you just want one or two subjects, you will need to call and request them or you can send an email to sales@memoriapress.com and ask for them to be added to your online order. Just be sure to put your order no. on the email. They are $3/subject.

Regards,

Tanya
