My boys love hands-on science experiments. Do the science books included in the complete curriculum packages have hands-on science experiments?

They really don't have experiments in them. Our science for the primary and grammar school years is mostly nature study. We are big on insects, birds, trees, all the things that students see when they walk outside.

I don't know if it's allowed to mention other curriculums, but Sonlight has a good science course with experiements. I did 1st and 2nd grade science with Sonlight and there was a lot of books, supplies and materials. The 2nd grade did a lot of electricity experiments that were a lot of fun.

Sonlight's science is good and I am considering using it as a supplement this year. I appreciate your input!
