Default 7th grade world geography and cultures

Hi,

Tanya you have been very helpful on the phone and on these boards. I was wondering if you had a good resourse for world geography and cultures. I have been researching HLS and this was listed. I would really love to do something like this with my 7th grader.

Anyone who wants to chime in would be welcomed!

Thanks,
Kristen

Hi, Kristen.

We are in the process of writing a geography program for middle/high school, but I don't think I'll have it formatted and ready to go until Dec. or Jan. In the meantime, I do have a geography program that covers Europe, the Middle East, and No. Africa, all areas of the world that are necessary for classical/Christian studies.

And I really don't know of a program that is out there that is good. That's why we are writing our own - we haven't found anything that we like out there.

Regards,

Tanya

Thanks for replying so quickly. You are already sending me one that I think is being used for 4th or 5th. I can just use this one with the 7th grader?

Thanks,
Kristen

Sure, as long as it is new material. The goal of it is for your student to learn to map these areas of the world.

Cheers,

Tanya

Got it. Thanks. I think I'll have to do a little testing to see how much he knows. We have mapped the whole world, but nothing too formal.

Thanks again and looking forward to the middle/highschool version.

Kristen
