Literature guide Question

Hi Tanya,
Could you please tell me how important it is to purchase the specific novels that Memoria Press offers to go with each literature guide.
For example: if we already own a copy of Anne of Green Gables, would we not be able to follow along well with the guide because the paging would be different that the specific edition which MP offers?

Jennifer,

There are only a couple of cases where you would need the exact novel we use. For Heidi, you would need the Spyri translation, for the Iliad/Odyssey, you would need the Butler translation, and for Robinson Crusoe, page numbers are necessary because there are no chapter breaks in the book.

We try not to refer to page numbers in our guides so that people can use any novel they have, but sometimes it is necessary. You should be fine with Anne of Green Gables. Each spread is referenced by chapter.
