I am grading my son's Lesson 18, part IV translation skills section. On #3 and #4, the teacher's manual says the subject is magna/magnae resp. however, I believe it should be Regina/Reginae.
Can you please confirm this or explain to me if I am wrong? Blessings, Angela |

Yes, this is an error -- with respect to the instruction, the line should be under 'regina' and 'reginae'.

The instruction should really say "noun subject". The noun subjects for #3 and #4 are "regina" and "reginae", so the teacher manual is in error and is being corrected. The confusion in the instruction is that it should specify noun subject -- the whole subject of a sentence includes any and all modifiers. Paul.
