Traditional Logic II - How helpful are the DVDs?
We started our 13 year old son on Traditional Logic I last year. We bought the whole package including the DVDs. We quickly found out that our son preferred doing the lessons through reading the work book and doing the exercises, w/o going through the DVD. The early lessons (which I watched with him) seemed to provide reinforcement of the material, but didn't seem to be necessary to comprehend the material. The material presented in the DVD seemed closely aligned with the material in the workbooks without adding additional information.
Therefore, when we bought Traditional Logic II this year, we didn't buy the DVDs since our son didn't end up using them last year. Can anyone who has used the DVDs with the Traditional Logic II course tell me how helpful they have been? Are they like the I DVDs, following the book material very closely, or do the DVDs include additional material that helps to better explain the material in the books?
Thanks for any help anyone can provide!
