Pl ?
My 6 year old is working through Prima Latina for the first time. While we are memorizing the pronunciation & reading of the Latin, I have not required memorization of spelling or writing the Latin. Should I require my 6 year old to spell the Latin correctly before moving onto the next lesson or just keep the focus on reading and speaking it and focus on that in the next level?

I'm using PL with my 7yo ds. I am correcting his spelling with him as we go, and I am not requiring him to write out the prayers - we just do those orally.
His older brothers were 9 and 11 when they did LCI. I did (and do) make them write things out and spell correctly. Victoria

Thanks for the advice. I think I will work on spelling (maybe have 6 yr old write out the words one day) but we will keep going. I will requice correct spelling with the next level.
