Default NAC Question

I know a secular version using famous quotes is available for grade 2. Are there plans to make alternate versions for grade 1 and 3?

Hello.

I don't believe that book 1 has any Scripture in it. It is mainly teaching each individual letter, so the students aren't writing full sentences. It does have the Pledge of Allegiance at the end, but I just flipped through it and didn't see any Scripture. And Iris Hatfield is working on a secular Book 3. I'm not sure what her time frame is, but I feel like it will be finished by the time you need it.

Regards,

Tanya

Default NAC Secular and Scripture versions

Hi, Tanya. I bought NAC Secular version for my daughter and she is working on it right now just because I like my kids to copy quotes too and we are doing American History this year in our co-op. I was planning to have her do NAC 2 with Scripture later this year so I was wondering if the exercises that do not have quotes (for example, she just wrote about her favorite place to visit the other day in NAC 2 Secular) are exactly the same in both versions. Will there be overlap? If so I can always have her skip those exercises and just do the copywork pages. Thanks!

Hi, Shaina.

NAC2 is the exact same book whether you do the secular or the Scripture one. So, you will only want to do one of these and then move on to NAC3 for the extra practice your students need. We are working on a secular NAC3 now, so hopefully it will be ready by the time you need it.

Cheers,

Tanya
