Default Using MP with a large family.

Let me start by saying I am almost jumped for joy when MP started releasing the lesson plans because I always wanted my dc to be able to attend HLS. I even tried to convince my dh that Louisville was a good option when we were looking at places for relocation last year.

However, in using the grade levels already out, I have run into a problem that I hope someone can help me with.

I have 6 dc at home, with 4 school-aged this past year and a Ker coming up this year (so I will have 5.) I have 3 dyslexic boys - 2 using Barton and another who isn't at that level yet. Because of that, they struggle with reading and writing and need my help for most subjects.

There is only one of me, though! I am planning to continue with MP this next school year (after looking at all my other options), but I need scheduling help. How do others handle having so many that need help?

Hello, Renee.

I can't help you with your scheduled days, but we might could combine a couple of the subjects your children are studying, such as classical history, American history/geography, and Christian Studies - and possibly Latin. If you want to email me with their grades and what they have studied in these areas already, I'll be glad to help you put something together that might simplify things for you.

Regards,

Tanya Charlton
