Default Transition from Second Form to Third Form

Hello, Second Form Users!

I am attaching a file that has a syllabus for transitioning from Second Form
into Third Form when we begin beta testing it in January. If you have completed Second Form, we would like you to spend this semester working through the first 5 units of Henle I. The attached syllabus was put together by Cheryl Lowe to supplement your work in our Forms series. She has carefully chosen the exercises that will most benefit your continuing Latin work.

In order to complete this work, you will need the Henle I text, an answer key,
and the Henle Grammar. You can get these books from us for $28.45 (Henle I Text
Set).

Please let us know if you have any questions. We will - as always - be glad to
help you.

Regards,

Tanya Charlton

Hello,

My daughter (grade 8) is working her way through Henle I, and doing okay. Her background from LC I and II have been a great help! We have been using Memoria Press's lesson plans for Henle, which have been very helpful to both of us, but I am intrigued by the possibility of helping her more with DVD lessons from the "Form" series (I am not at all an experienced Latin teacher). And we are reaching the end of your lesson plan books, but have lots of Henle I left.

So, I am wondering whether Third and Fourth Form Latin sets might be available soon? I think it might be easier and more fun for both of us to switch to that format before tackling Caesar in Henle II. If not, are there any plans to create lesson plan books for the rest of Henle I?

Thank you for any information or suggestions you can give me!

Judy

Judy,

We will have Third Form available at the end of the summer, and our goal is to have the dvds completed also. We are going to record them as Cheryl finishes the program. I do think this would be an easier way to do Latin unless you wish to do an online class where your daughter can get one on one help from a teacher.

Henle I, Units 6-14 is on my wish list for summer, so we'll see how it goes!

Regards,

Tanya Charlton
