Finish Henle 1 or go on to Henle 2?

My 13 y.o. (summer birthday) has done very well with Henle 1, Units 1-5, over the last two years with a local teacher. He will be in 9th grade next year. I have a strong background in grammar and other foreign languages and have been able to help him with some effort, but he is rapidly exceeding my capabilities and his local teacher doen't go beyond Henle 1, Unit 5, for various reasons.

So we are looking at online classes. Would he do better in the Memoria online class that finishes Henle 1 or should he go on to Henle 2? I also am keeping in mind that he says that he wants to take 4 years of Latin in high school. If he finished Henle 1 for 9th grade, that would give me two more years of online classes through Memoria and then we'd have to find something for 12th grade. There is a local Latin tutor who does AP Latin prep work with older teenagers that I could use at that point.
