In LC II, Lesson VIII, Exercise B. 3, should "The Gauls will seize the village." be translated:
Galliae vicum occupabunt instead of the answer key's "Galli vicum occupabant" Will you please explain why we are given Latin words to translate that we haven't had as vocabulary words? I don't remember that occurring in LC I. Thank you. |

The relevant vocabulary word, Gallus, i, a Gaul, appears in the vocabulary list for that chapter on p. 34 of the LCII student book. Your translation appears to be using the word "Gallia" (Gaul the place) rather than "Gallus" (a Gaul).
