Default Warriners English Grammar

Hi Tanya,

I was looking over the recommended grammar text on the HLS site and I see that the out-of-print Warriner's English Grammar is used for grades 7-9. Do you have these available for sale? If not could you be specific as to which text you recommend in the series for a 7th grader.

Thank you for your time,
Jennifer

Hello.

We use the Warriner's 2nd course for 7th grade. I don't sell them since the one that Cheryl likes is out of print. At least you can get it cheaply! I'd say the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd course would be fine for a 7th grader.

Regards,

Tanya

Tanya,

Would you mind sharing which edition? I have a fantastic Homeschool Store near me filled with many OOP things so I might find it.

The Second Course says 'Franklin Edition.' The copyright is 1982, and the ISBN is 0-15-311881-4. But I'm thinking you could use any of these books and be fine. There's a 1977, 1973, 1969, 1965, 1963, and 1959 version, and I can't imagine that the differences would be major.

Cheers,

Tanya
