Default Henle Latin HIGH SCHOOL SCHEDULE

Hello,

I was curious about the pace for a high schooler to work through the Henle Latin Series: I - IV.

On p. 4 of the "First Year Henle Latin Guide for Units III-V," there is a "Six Year Schedule" in which the student only gets through (part of?) Henle Latin II.

It seems that one would have to go at a much faster pace to get through Henle Latin I, II, III, IV in high school unless III, IV are for college level.

What is a good goal for high school graduation? My daughter is going into 9th grade this Fall and we will be finished Henle Latin I Units 1-5 by that time.

Are there any plans to make more guides for the rest of the units in Henle Latin I and Henle Latin II?

Thanks,
KIM

We are looking at updating that calendar since when we made it we did not have the Form series. As well, high schoolers can take it at a faster pace.
However, your daughter seems to be in a very good situation. In her upcoming 9th grade year, she could do Units 6-14 of Henle I (we just released a guide for those units, quizzes are on the way).
If she is a strong Latin student, she may be able to do Henle 2, 3, 4 in her sophomore, junior, and senior years respectively. However, she may need time to get used to the translation in Henle 2, in which case she could take two years to do it and leave senior year for Cicero or Virgil.
There has been talk of doing a study guide for Henle 2, but that project has not been decided on and therefore not yet started.
