This is a post for advice. I will be starting Henle Latin I in August with my 6th grader. We completed Latin Primer I in 3rd, Latina Christiana I in 4th and Latina Christiana II in 5th. I have no previous Latin experience. I have just been working with my child. We have the Henle Latin Study guide for the first two units by Cherle Lowe to aide my process. I am wondering what the Latin Course Guides and Quiz Sets from the Christian Latin Society would add to our study of the language. I want to make sure that I am testing the essentials and not majoring on minors. I also do not want to overload my child with too much. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.
