This January I enrolled my fifth and second graders in a local Christian school. I had homeschooled them to this point with my fifth grader working half-way through LC II. The principal at this school has expressed an interest in me teaching LC I to sixth-graders next year (beginning in the fall). I would teach the class three days per week in one hour sessions. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might present the material to such a class? While homeschooling my daughter, I would give her some Latin everyday (as outlined in the LC I Teacher's Manual) and I made liberal use of the Ludere exercises. I guess what I'm looking for is a systematic approach that would ease me into the classroom situation with the time constraints given. Any comments would be appreciated.

Ron, take a look at the front of the teacher's manual. It describes a pattern of instruction that can be used in both a homeschool and classroom setting. In fact, I think the curriculum is actually more classroom-oriented than homeschooling oriented. You may find it helpful.
