Ex. 145, No. 6, p. 441
We know that it behooves us to fight on behalf of our liberty.
Key left out nostra (abl.) for "our."
Ex. 148, No. 3, p. 127 in key: "Caesar" should be "Cicero."
Ex. 151, No. 5, p. 128 in key (misspelling): Isn't it proficisci, not profiscisci?
Ex. 153, No. 7, p. 449:
The Gauls, having captured Rome, burned it.
The note says "having captured" cannot be changed to an ablative absolute. I don't understant why. Couldn't the answer be:
Galli, Roma (abl.) capta, eam incenderunt.
Advice comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Ron.
