Can someone clear up a pronunciation question? In listing the principal parts for placeo (placeo, placere, placui, placitus), is placui pronounced pla-kui?
Another question is about different ways to form principal parts. I have a book, 201 Latin Verbs, that lists a lot of prinicipal parts differently than in LC, i.e. the fourth principal part is listed as placitum, not placitus. Is this a difference in the ecclesiastical Latin as opposed to others?
