What would be the proper logical form for this syllogism:

All bees sting
All stinging things should be avoided
Therefore, bees should be avoided

This is the second example in question 31 in Chapter 1 of Traditional Logic Book 2.

Please explain!

This looks like an error in the book, since it is improperly formed. The major premise should come first, but it comes second here. It should read as follows:


All stinging things should be avoided
All bees sting
Therefore, bees should be avoided
