Christian Studies with different ages

Next year I will have students in grade 3, 7 and 9. I'm thinking of combining them to do Christian Studies together. The first two are within the recommended range for CS. Is it likely to work to include the grade 9 student in our discussions and somehow supplement it for him?

Absolutely I think you can include your 9th grader. Maybe you can have the 9th grader read the material from a regular Bible instead of the Golden Children's Bible?

I agree, you might try having your older student outline the text, or write a brief summary of the story, or discuss the motivations of the characters. And I would highly recommend reading the story from a fuller translation
