We are in the process of redirecting our homeschool in the classical model. I have purchased LCC and am working my way thru it, and am studying the curriculum map in The Classical Teacher. This is a perfect time for us to adjust with no hitches, as we are finishing 3 grade work in the curriculum we were in, and will work to finish Prima Latina and read Greek Myths from now till fall.

This being said, can someone (hopefully many of you) help point me to more guidance? Am I missing a 'how to get started' section on this forum? Is there a more complete map somewhere? Has this been discussed in the forum, perhaps bookmarked at some point? The curriculum map doesn't feel quite complete, somehow.

Thank you for your assistance.

Melissa

Melissa,
Did you see this in the articles section:

Is this the sort of thing you want?

Hello!

Congratulations on your commitment to a classical education. You won't be sorry. A good guide for your study would be to use the Highlands Latin School model (adapted for home use, of course). You can see the curriculum used by grade on their website: thelatinschool.org. Also, after you have looked at that and thought about it, I would be glad to answer any further questions you have if you would like to call me at Memoria.

Regards!
