Is there a new edition in the works for Latina Christiana 2?

We're moving right along in LC 1 and I'm starting to get my shopping list together for the next phase. We've so enjoyed the third edition of LC1 and found the teacher's guide to be terrific.

Is there any plan to make any improvements in LC2 so that it is more similar to LC1? Or am I safe in ordering the current edition?

I'd be so disappointed if I ordered my materials right before a new edition was released.

We are working on a new edition of the LC II Teacher Manual. (The student book is already in its third edition). The LC II 3rd Edition Teacher Manual will include the following new features

Teacher explanations are written around a complete copy of the student book with overlaid answers
Expanded derivatives section right in the lesson
Expanded appendices & vocabulary list
25 new weekly quizzes plus 5 Review tests with answer keys
Famous Men of Rome Guide is now in the Teacher Manual with overlaid answers

The new LC II Teacher Manual should start shipping near the end of February, 2005. If you already purchased a 2nd Edition Teacher Manual, don't fret. We will offer a special upgrade price that just covers our cost of printing and shipping. (Typically about $11)

I found your last edition of LC I very easy to use. I have the 1998 edition of LC II and am ready to start my son on this book; however, I was hoping to get the upgrade you indicated. How do I go about doing this? I purchased the 1998 edition from someone other than you. Will this matter?

I am also waiting for the new edition of the LC 2 TE. I actually bought the older edition to start this year but it was very hard for me to use so we put it off until the new one comes out.
